Light Green

If you don't like the celebrity crap you've been hearing lately about one square of toilet paper and changing to lightbulbs that will last you longer than you'll live. I rarely agree with John Mayer, but he's got a new concept called "light green."

I think there is global warming. And I don't think that we're causing it. But, there's no reason for people to run out to their SUV and drive an extra 50 miles just to spite the crazy tree huggers of the world. I DO drive to Salt Lake 4 days a week, and I see how LA-like it is on some days, and I would hate to see all that beauty go to waste. Really, if we don't have pretty mountains to look at, then no one, except LDS people, will even want to live here.

I like the idea of being "light green" because it means that you, as John Mayer puts it, "drive your SUV to the store, but bring your own reusable bags." We can all do something to make the environment look better, and we should. Even if it has nothing to do with global warming. If you don't agree with me, go hug a tree, or go drive your SUV, whichever you choose.
