VT

It always takes me a while to decide how I feel about new things. I think in some ways that makes me someone who is "thoughtful," and in other ways someone who "could never have his own radio show." I don't know that I can really say anything about this violence that I didn't say in my post about Trolley Square about people being evil. I just don't buy that he was insane. Insane is lawyer speak for "I can get this jerk out of what he did, even though he's gonna do it again." I think most psychologists don't just say people are crazy or not. There's definitely levels of crazy.

I really like listening to Glenn Beck on this subject, and if you haven't heard him lately you should check it out. It's basically a don't blame society, blame the guy who did it, but we should look at society to help us know how we can keep crap like this from happening again.

One last opinion I found really enlightening was Stephen King. He basically said that all the writing that he did as a college student would have been flagged as crazy person writing too. This kid basically did what he did, but without the talent, and with the REAL crazy. It's a pretty funny article. You can find it here http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20036014,00.html. Sorry I'm not so good at the html thing yet.
