Back in the Studio

Nick and I went and recorded one of my songs on Friday. All in all I think it was a success. One of the hardest things about studio time is that you can't just go in and mess around for a couple hours. We had some technical difficulties, which ate up some time, but that's to be expected. I don't think that's ever not happened to me. Nick did a great job with the mic-ing(I hate spelling that word, so I invented a new way), especially with the piano. Most of the stuff I don't like about it was because I arranged it too high, so I sound strained, and also I did the vocals with about 3 run-throughs. I can't wait to mix it and hear Nick's mix!
